Fresh Start Cleaning Services provides all of our own cleaning products and equipment, we will not be using anything that you have in the house already (unless agreed upon due to warranties requiring a specific product). This is because Fresh Start Cleaning Services trains our employees on which product to use on every surface. We are also making efforts to be environmentally conscious by using mostly hydrogen peroxide based, biodegradable, septic-friendly, kid and pet-safe products. There are occasions when a surface will require a different approach, in which case, our team will consult with the homeowner before proceeding. We are constantly making changes to better the working environment for our employees and to make sure we can deliver a better service for our clients.

No, as long as you have a way to let us in when you are not home there is no reason for you to have to be there. However, if it makes you feel more comfortable we welcome you to be remain at home. All of our house cleaning employees are trustworthy and friendly, they do have a schedule though so make sure to give them enough space to get their work done.

YES! Our employees are insured and bonded to protect against any loss or breakage that may occur while we clean your home. All employment taxes are paid and all employees are covered under workman’s compensation just in case they are hurt on the job.

We require 48 hours notice for rescheduling or cancellations. There will be a charge of 50% of the price of the cleaning visit within 48 hours ie for no notice cancellations and lockouts. If you are sick and it’s your cleaning day, please email us at Freshstartfernie@gmail.com  by 8:30 am. We will do our best to reschedule your cleaning at our earliest opportunity. Please do not have us clean if your family is home with the flu or other illnesses. Remember you are home because you are contagious! Thank you.

Email is by far the best method, as text messages can get missed. However, if you have an emergency that needs our urgent attention, please reach out to us via text (with your name) or phone us at 250 278 8117.

You can pay via e-transfer or cash. Cash can be left on your kitchen counter for our cleaning crew to pick up, and e-transfers can be payable to Freshstartfernie@gmail.com. For either of these methods, please mention how you'd like to pay at the time of booking. We do, however, require a Mastercard or Visa to be stored on file for securing your booking.

Mastercard/Visa details are stored securely on our booking system (Jobber), we will take your card number and charge the amount after the service is finished. Invoices and receipts are available for viewing in Jobber's Client Hub. You can also update your payment method in the Client Hub.

Your business is important to us and we want to make sure you are happy and completely satisfied. If the quality of work performed and paid for, is not satisfactory, contact us within 24 hours and we will make arrangements to rectify the situation. If you believe we did an outstanding job please write a review of us on an online site so others can see what our service has to offer. We love to read customer reviews!

Our rates depend on the type of service you are looking for - residential, commercial, recurring services, or one-time cleans. Click on our 'Request an Estimate' tab and answer our form to get yourself a fully customized estimate for your property. We offer a Loyalty discount for primary homeowners that book recurring services in the Fernie area.

Jobber will send reminders a few days ahead of our visits, and also the morning of the service. Watch out for emails and text messages and make sure to double-check the dates and times.
